March 2008:
Several updates again... First of all, Toxocara have been added to the ever expanding roster. Toxocara can be seen on several shows around the country and on some festivals in The Netherlands and Germany, so keep your eyes open!
Other than that, a whole lot of shows have been added for The Monolith Deathcult, Officium Triste, Houwitser, In Age And Sadness and Remains. See the 'Current Shows' section for more details.

Remains have been asked by Hail Of Bullets (with members from Thanatos, Gorefest, ex-Pestilence and ex-Houwitser) to exclusively support them on their very first gig in Arnhem on June the 6th. Be there for a great old school death metal show!

The tour In Age And Sadness was scheduled to do with Mourning Beloveth got cancelled because of really sad personal problem in the Mourning Beloveth-camp. The whole tour will be re-scheduled to October, more details soon. In the mean time In Age And Sadness is scheduled to do a few shows with their friends from Chile, Mar de Grises. Others on the bill are: Saturnus and Funeral.

Quite some news from our side! Several shows have been added for Remains, The Monolith Deathcult, Nominon and Officium Triste. But also we can welcome a new band to the roster, the Swedish masters of doom: Isole. Timeless Wounds is pretty much excited about the future cooperation with these guys, "Isole is simply on the top the whole doom generation and definitely the icing of the cake on the Swedish doom scene. With their new album they show they will be the next Candlemass!".

In other news, Remains is set to support Master at the Little Devil club in Tilburg and God Dethroned at Mezz in Breda. The Monolith Deathcult is added to the bill with Gorefest with at Burgerweeshuis in Deventer. Officium Triste will be on a mini tour with Austrian Hollenthon throughout Holland and Germany. In Age And Sadness are set to play a few shows with their UK friends of The Prophecy. One more show is added to the Nominon spring mini tour with Remains, in Denmark, unfortunately without Remains. Houwitser is being added to the bill of the third Metal Matinee in Zierikzee, completing the line-up with Weakling, Sauron, Mar de Grises and The Monolith Deathcult.

More news will follow shortly!

Houwitser: After a try-out show on November 30th Dutch death metal machine Houwitser did their official comeback show at Baroeg, Rotterdam. This was also Remains' first appearance on the Baroeg stage. On all matters this show was a huge succes, as founding member Michel says:

------

Friday, December 7th it finally happened. HOUWITSER played their first gig in their hometown Rotterdam since the break up a couple of years ago. And it was a killer gig!

Remains kicked off and they did a great job at that (great show guys, can’t wait ‘till the next one). Putrefied was the second band. Man, they were heavy!

And then the time had come for HOUWITSER to get on stage. From the first notes of ‘Terror Legion’ until the last chord of ‘Unholy Orgasm’ there was complete mayhem. It was a ravishing chaos! Baroeg still rules!

HOUWITSER thanks everyone who've been there, you all rule!

Stay brutal and see you all soon.
Michel

Thanatos:
Dutch veterans of death metal Thanatos played their last show (for now) at Brogum on 9-12-2007, on a small festival with Remains, Flesh Made Sin, Jack Frost and Heidevolk.
